The Danish Consumer Ombudsman appreciates hearing about your complaint. Your information will be used to spot new trends, uncover new scams, and target suspect companies and individuals for law enforcement actions. It may help ensure that others wont be victimized in the way that you have been. Because the Internet marketplace is a borderless one, sharing your complaint with government agencies in different countries has never been more important to help us in our worldwide fight to keep the Internet safe for you. In accordance with Danish legislation the Consumer Ombudsman is not obliged to deal with all complaints he receives, and he therefore makes a priority as to which complaints he will take into consideration. Therefore, you cannot be sure that your particular complaint will be dealt with, but as mentioned above it will be part of the Consumer Ombudsman's empirical material. If you have filed a complaint via www.econsumer.gov you need not contact the Consumer Ombudsman in other ways, as he will be informed about your complaint via the eConsumer.gov network. If you are a Danish consumer, who has bought a product at a value of more than 500 DKr. abroad you may in some cases file a complaint with the Danish Consumer Complaints Board. You may read more about this possibility by following the link to consumer complaints (Danish text). If you are a foreign consumer, who has bought a product at a
value of more than 500 DKr. from a Danish enterprise you also in some cases have the
possibility of complaining to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board. You may have further
information by following the link to
consumer
complaints (English text).
